INDOT hosting a virtual chat on September 23

INDIANA – On September 23rd, INDOT-Cultural Resources Office (CRO) will host a virtual chat titled Deep Thoughts: Best Practices for Evaluating Buried Site Potential, Featuring Case Studies from the White and Ohio River Valleys from noon until 2 p.m. EST. 

The session will be presented by Patrick Trader of Gray and Pape and Andrew Martin of Cultural Resource Analysts who will discuss the results of recent geoarchaeological investigations conducted ahead of INDOT projects. 

A framework for approaching alluvial landforms and making recommendations in the context of Cultural Resource Management will also be offered.
