National defense leaders to highlight Midwest Defense Innovation Summit

INDIANA – Registration is now open for the second annual Midwest Defense Innovation Summit, where attendees can learn about cutting-edge ideas and innovations that drive the nation’s defense strategy from a range of experts representing the U.S. academic institutions, industry, and government.

The Summit, on October 25-26, in Indianapolis, will feature sessions on topics that include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, autonomous systems, and more. Event organizers are IN3 (Indiana Innovation Institute), Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, the National Security Technology Accelerator, Radius Indiana, and the National Security Innovation Network.

Confirmed and invited speakers include leaders from the Department of Defense, Marine Corps Systems Command, Office of Naval Research, NASA Glenn Research Center, National Security Council, Midwest Governors, members of Congress and the United States Senate, and leaders in academia from top universities.
