BLOOMINGTON – Monroe County Community School Corporation announces online meal kits for its remote learners.
Meal kits will include five complete breakfasts and lunches along with heating instructions for items that are best enjoyed hot and will be available for pickup every Friday.
You will see many familiar items, including whole-grain cereal and breakfast bars, whole-muscle chicken, 100 percent beef burgers, whole-grain foods, fresh vegetables, and a variety of fresh and cupped fruits. A choice of 1 percent milk or lactose-free milk will also be available.
MCCS will offer a two-week menu cycle to ensure plenty of variety for our remote learners. While not the same experience as eating inside the schools, officials hope to recreate a sense of familiarity for remote learners.
