About the Project:
Health is affected by many factors – housing, insurance, fitness, food, transportation, and more. Community Voices for Health in Monroe County (CVHMC) has been gathering stories from residents about their experiences with these issues, and this data (presented anonymously) will form the basis of these deliberation sessions. Community Voices for Health in Monroe County (CVHMC) aims to build on existing practices to ensure that decision-making processes are meaningful, community-wide, and embrace varying perspectives. The CVHMC project seeks to develop a model that joins community members with leaders and decision-makers in meaningful ways around topics that affect health.
