City of Bloomington to provide digital access to council session on annexation at City Hall

BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington will provide digital access at City Hall at 401 North Morton Street to the special session of the Bloomington Common Council scheduled for Wednesday, August 11 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. 

This meeting, which will be held entirely online, is a continuation of the public hearing on annexation proposals which began August 4. Computers will be available for use by residents interested in watching or participating in the meeting who might otherwise be without internet capability. 

City staff will also provide guidance to those who join the meeting at City Hall about using online tools to make a comment during the public hearing.  Visitors may use computers set up in the City Hall atrium, or watch the meeting on monitors in the adjacent Council Chambers. 

Due to public health concerns, all visitors to City Hall are required to adhere to face covering and physical distancing protocols.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
