Bloomington Parks & Recreation Kid-Size Triathlon returns

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Parks & Recreation Kid-Size Triathlon returns for those who are athletes or a child who simply likes to try new and creative activities.

The triathlon will take place at Bryan Park on Saturday, July 17. from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Online registraiton until July 15th is $20. Onsite registration until 9:45 a.m. is $25 and must be paid with a credit or debit card only.

The Bryan Park Kids Triathlon is a fun, non-competitive opportunity for kids ages 5-10 to be fit and have fun

The race will be a job around the .5-mile paved path around Bryan Park.

There will be some new triathlon events including a long jump. Officials will utilize the sand volleyball court at Bryan Park to test trithletes and see how fare they can mump from a standing start point.

Young participants will also saddle up for the equestrian event on inflatable sick ponies, mimicking an equestrian competition.
