Cauy Motsinger 2021 Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship winner

PEKIN – Washington County Sheriff Brent Miller is proud to announce that Cauy Motsinger is a 2021 Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Committee, winner.

Motsinger is one of 40 students selected statewide to receive a $750 scholarship to help with his academic pursuits next school year.

“I am pleased to be able to award this scholarship to Cauy on behalf of the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association. I wish him luck as he continues his education, and I am sure he will be a great addition to the law enforcement community when he graduates,” said Sheriff Miller.

Cauy Motsinger is a 2021 graduate of Eastern High School. While in school he was a student-athlete excelling in both baseball and basketball.

He will be attending Vincennes University in the fall where he will be studying Conservation Law Enforcement.

The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund was established to provide funds to support students that are pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field.

Winners of the scholarship must be full-time students as well as affiliate or associate member of the Association or a dependent child or grandchild of an active affiliate or associate member of the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association and an Indiana resident.

The winner must attend an Indiana college or university.
