BLOOMINGTON – Stone Belt’s CEO Leslie Green, Stone Belt Self-Advocates, and The Arc of Indiana’s Director of Public Policy Hannah Carlock, Senator Eric Koch, Senator Shelli Yoder, and Representative Jeff Ellington, Representative Peggy Mayfield and Representative Matt Pierce will present the 2021 Hoosier Direct Support Professional Legislative Proclamation
The presentation will be on Monday, June 21 at 10 a.m. at Stone Belt at 2815 East 10th Street in Bloomington.
Stone Belt and The Arc of Indiana is celebrating the Direct Support Professional (DSP) wage increase included in the recently approved state budget. Throughout the 2021 Legislative session, Stone Belt, The Arc of Indiana, and others advocated strongly for a DSP wage increase. DSPs throughout Indiana provide invaluable support to Hoosiers with developmental disabilities and their families.
