Lana (Thomas) Fish, 80, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:37 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 11, 1941, in Bedford, she was the daughter of James Paul and Wilma Marie (Brazzell) Thomas. She married James Fish on November 14, 1959, and he survives. She was a human resource coordinator for Indiana University for more than forty years. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Phi Beta Kappa.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years, James, of Bloomington; two daughters, Lisa Fish, of Bloomington and Kristy Overton, of Frankfort, KY; a granddaughter, Alexis Overton, of Frankfort, KY; a sister, Paula Hammerquist, of Seattle, WA; a sister-in-law, Patti Fish, of Huntertown, IN; a brother-in-law, Thomas Fish, of Phoenix, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Stephen Fish.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Green Hill Cemetery with Father Jegan Peter officiating.
