SPRINGVILLE – The Springville Heritage Group is hosting the annual Springville Heritage 5K.
This MAG-7 event will raise money to help with the maintenance of the Springville Park.
Springville Park was formed in 2004 that has a walking path, shelter house, playground equipment, and horseshoe pits for locals to be able to use.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 19, and will start at 8:00 a.m. Awards will be given for the top qualifiers of the 5K.
This event is sponsored by: Bedford Dental Care, Bedford Savings Bank, Gear Works, Knight Excavating, Lighthouse Mortgage Services, Marketing Matters, Spring Creek Cattle Company LLC, Springville General Store & Deli, Taylor Tax Service, and U.S. Aggregates.
The sponsors helped defray the cost of organizing the event, purchasing t-shirts, awards, complimentary drinks and snacks for each race participant.
The fundraising goal is to raise $3,000.
Registration will be at the park at 87 Popcorn Road from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. The 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m. The fee is $15 with no T-shirt.
