Youth Babysitting Spark Club – Enrollment open

BEDFORD – Do you have an interest in babysitting? Would you like to develop skills to become a better babysitter?

Purdue Extension-Lawrence County invites you to join us on June 15th – 17th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily for our 2nd Annual Babysitting Spark Club.

This training program will feature CPR certifications, first aid training, cooking lessons, child care how-to’s, and much more.

This opportunity is open to all Lawrence County youth grades 6th-12th. The cost to participate in this training is $70 for youth not enrolled in the 4-H program and $50 for current 4-H members. This fee will include daily lunches, snacks, a CPR and First Aid certification/card, and class materials.

Registration is currently open. The registration deadline is June 7 at 4 p.m. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Space is limited. Officials recommend registering early to reserve your spot for this opportunity. Find more information at http://puext.in/BabysittingClub

What is a Spark Club?

A Spark Club is a short-term club that provides an experience for a specified topic. These programs are led by volunteers and Purdue Extension Staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about the topic. Spark clubs are open to all Lawrence County Youth, whether or not you are currently a member of the Lawrence County 4-H Program. Participants will get to join 4-H as part of this experience.
