BEDFORD – Both lanes of 5th Street between X Street and Bell Back Road are now open.
The road was closed earlier today while Bedford Police officers investigate an accident involving a school bus.
Also on the scene were Bedford Fire Department and an IU Health Hospital ambulance.
The bus driver did suffer minor injuries.
Another bus did arrive on the scene to pickup some students on the bus. It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the accident.
