John Jones Auto Group, Pauly Jail Building Co., and TPC Mechanical to Co-Host Re-Scheduled Sheriffs’ Shotgun Shoot

VELPEN – John Jones Auto Group, Pauly Jail Building Co. and TPC Mechanical are again joining ranks with Indiana first responders by co-hosting the re-scheduled 4th Annual Sheriffs’ Shotgun Shoot on September 23. 

A national ammunition shortage delayed the annual springtime event until fall.

Mission BBQ of Evansville will serve participants at the Cool Springs Education Center event an all-you-can-eat menu, including pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken, slider rolls, cornbread, mac & cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, peach cobbler and non-alcoholic beverages.

John Jones Auto Group will sponsor all shooting stations for the firearms safety event. JJAG will also provide sample firearms safety materials ISYR will utilize for younger visitors to the 62-acre not-for-profit training retreat.
Pauly Jail Building Co. will sponsor is a continental breakfast for morning teams, as well as soft drinks and water throughout the day’s event. Pauly Jail Building Co. will also sponsor all shooting stations for all participating teams across Indiana.
TPC Mechanical, Inc. will sponsor Mission BBQ’s luncheon for shooting teams and event volunteers. TPC is also a sponsor of shooting stations for the dozens of Indiana law enforcement and fire service teams.

John Jones Auto Group, Pauly Jail Building Co., and TPC Mechanical have been annual co-sponsors of the successful event since its inception. They join co-hosts Elevatus Architecture, Garmong Construction Services, and OFS, owners of Cool Springs Education Center.

Holiday Inn Express – Jasper will offer a special rate for event participants mentioning the Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch when calling 812-482-3344 to make direct reservations for the night before the fundraiser, the night after, or both. Holiday Inn Express will also make a charitable donation to ISYR for each room reservation.

Morning and afternoon six-person shooting teams for the event are just $750 and include 100 12- and 20-gauge shells, 100 clay targets, the catered Mission BBQ luncheon, and awards. Shooting station sponsorships are $250.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the development of the recently purchased Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch for future law enforcement officers, at-risk kids, young witnesses, and victims of crime. Firearms safety will be emphasized in the curriculum for ISYR field trips, overnights, and weeklong academies.
