BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested Monday after he urinated and defecated in the parking lot of IU Health Hospital Monday night.
An IU Health Police officer was summoned to the emergency room entrance to find 55-year-old Allen Mikels with his pants down leaning against a blue pickup truck.
The female driver told police they were going to give him a ride home, but Mikels had urinated in the pickup.
While speaking to police Mikels again began urinating and defecating in the parking lot.
Mikels was transported to jail on charges of public indecency and public intoxication.
