Bedford man arrested on meth charges

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested Monday night after Bedford Police officers were alerted to a burglary in progress in the 1310 block of 13th Street.

While checking the area, an officer located 31-year-old Joshua Woods in the area of 15th and O streets.

The officer stopped Woods who appeared to be nervous. During a pat-down, the officer located a syringe in Wood’s pocket. In Wood’s cigarette pack the officer located three hydrocodone pills and a baggie of crystal meth. 

Woods was arrested on charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of a controlled substance.
