COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. Masks will be required to enter the office and hand sanitizer will be available.

If you are elderly or high risk, consider using one of the other options to pay your taxes. You may pay by credit card by calling the toll-free number at 1-888-654-3143 or using the tax payment website. There is a small fee applied.

Current tax and credit card payment information may be found online by clicking here.

You will also have the option of using one of the payment drop boxes. One will be located before the security desk and another past the security desk, outside of the Treasurer’s office door.

Remember that if you choose to come to the office, you will need to go through the security screening. If you choose to use the drop box option, place your payment coupon along with your payment in an envelop along with contact information in case officals need to contact you.

New this year will be an express line for payments with correct change or checks in the correct amount along with the payment coupon. This should ease waiting time for taxpayers.

Lawrence County property tax statements will be mailed on April 12. The Spring Installment is due on May 10, 2021, and the Fall Installment is due on November 10, 2021. Tax payments may be mailed, paid online, or via phone.

The office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
