Two possession of meth in the presence of a minor arrests made

BEDFORD – Two were arrested early Thursday morning after Bedford Police officers were called to a home in the 2010 block of H Street to check on the welfare of two children in the home.

When police arrived a woman answered their knocks on the door and invited the officers inside the home to check on the children.

Both children were fine and asleep in their beds.

She then allowed officers to search the house for illegal substances.

Police say there was a large group of people in the home, including 44-year-old Aaron Pinkston and 31-year-old Eva Tindel.

In Pinkston’s bedroom police found 7 glass smoking devices with meth residue and multiple baggies that contained meth residue in a cooler in the bedroom.

Pinkston denied ownership of the items and said they belonged to Tindel.

In Tindel’s purse, police found a digital scale, and a glass smoking device with meth residue.

Tindel also denied ownership of any of the items.

The owner of the home said Tindel carried the cooler into the home.

Both Pinkston and Tindel were arrested on charges of possession of meth in the presence of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
