BEDFORD – An adult female and two juvenile females were arrested Friday after being caught stealing from Walmart.
Bedford Police officers were called to the store after an employee alerted them about the theft.
Bedford Police stopped 19-year-old Katherine Plew and a 16-year-old and 15-year-old female before they exited the building.
According to police, the three were at the self-checkout register and were scanning lower-price items for more expensive items.
Police issued Plew a summons to appear in court on a charge of theft. The teens were released to their parents and cited into Lawrence County Juvenile Court on a charge of theft.
