BEDFORD – Dr. Wendy Trueblood Miller, a lifelong Bedford resident, has been awarded the Indiana University Bicentennial President’s Medal for Research Excellence.
Dr. Miller is an Associate Professor at the Indiana University School of Nursing, where she is Director of the PhD program.
Dr. Miller was nominated and received the medal based on her internationally-recognized program of research aimed at improving the lives of people with epilepsy through behavioral interventions.
Bicentennial medals are made from materials salvaged from the old bells which hung in the Student Building on the IU Bloomington campus.
Dr. Miller is a 2000 BNL graduate, and currently serves as an NLCS school board member, and is the president of the Little Theatre of Bedford board of directors.
