BNL’s Leach named to All-HHC team

BNL sophomore Colten Leach was named to the All-HHC team by the league coaches.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence sophomore Colten Leach was named to the First Team in the Hoosier Hills Conference by the league coaches.

Leach averaged 14.0 points, leading the Stars in scoring, rebounding (5.1), assists (3.7) and steals. He powered BNL to a 14-11 record, helping the Stars reach the Sectional 15 final game.

Jeffersonville, one of league co-champions and the sectional winner, was represented by Will Lovings-Watts and Brandon Rayzer-Moore on the First Team. Other honorees from the three league champions included New Albany’s Tucker Biven and Kaden Stanton, plus Floyd Central’s Jake Heidbreder and Brady Moore.

The rest of the First Team featured Jennings County’s Keegan Manowitz plus Madison’s Luke Miller and Luke Ommen.

BNL seniors Ben Cosner and Kooper Staley were named Honorable Mention. Cosner averaged 10.9 points and 4.0 rebounds, while Staley totaled 10.6 points.
