OOLITIC – The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will appoint an individual to the Oolitic Town Board on Tuesday, March 30th to fill the vacancy created by the immediate resignation of Dirk Sears, on March 1, 2021.
Interested republican candidates in good standing must file a notarized declaration of candidacy (State Form CEB-5) then submit a letter of interest along with a resume to the Central Committee.
Candidacy forms may be notarized at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office and will not be accepted after 4 p.m. on Friday, March 27th.
State Form CEB-5 is available online at the Indiana Secretary of State website and the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office. Resume and forms must also be mailed to Lawrence County GOP, 1522 I Street, Bedford, IN 47421.
