INDIANAPOLIS – Bedford North Lawrence junior Alexander Swenson finished his season, settling for 29th place in the 200-yard individual medley during the IHSAA state preliminary race on Friday night.
Swenson, competing in the state meet for the third straight year, posted a time of 2:01.71. The top eight after the two sessions of prelims qualified for the state championship race on Saturday, while places 9-16 advanced to the state consolation.
