Names Released in Orange County Fatal Accident

(ORANGE CO.) – The names have been released in the fatal accident that happened Sunday night on County Road 500 North.

The accident was reported at 8:20 p.m.

According to an Indiana State Police report, a 2006 Pontiac was traveling westbound on County Road 500 North when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the south side of the roadway and flipped multiple times before landing on its roof in a field.

Police say there were four juveniles in the vehicle. Two teen females died at the scene, 15-year-old Kyndell Bailey, of Orleans and 16-year-old Jocelyn Phillips, of Paoli.

The two teen males, 18-year-old Keeghan Jones and 15-year-old Trandon Blevins, both of Paoli, were transported by ambulances to local hospitals for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.

Assisting at the scene were, deputies with Orange County Sheriff’s Office, officers with the Paoli and Orleans Police Departments, Orange Country Rural Distract 2 Volunteer Fire Department first responders, and an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.
