(FORT RITNER) – Firefighters with Shawswick, Marion Township, and Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Departments are battling a house fire in the 5000 block of River Road.
Firefighters responded to the fire at 1:02 p.m.
The home is owned by Bobbi Rout. She and her family moved into the home in 1977.
Rout told an on the scene WBIW reporter she heard popping in an electrical box just before the fire started.
A female occupant of the home was treated at the scene by a Seals ambulance crew for smoke inhalation.
