(BLOOMINGTON) – A traffic accident Thursday afternoon closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 69 at the 118 mile marker, just north of Third Street in Bloomington.
The accident was reported at 12:10 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
A semi- overturned and was over the guard rail. It took emergency crews several hours to investigate and clean-up the accident scene.
Bloomington Police, Bloomington Fire, IU Health Ambulance Service, and Indiana State Police responded to the accident scene.
