(BEDFORD) – North Lawrence Community School Corporation officials have made changes to the 2020-21 school calendar.
“As we have progressed through this year, we have experienced hybrid, in-person, and virtual learning schedules,” said Superintendent Ty Mungle. “We have learned that, when done safely, our students’ most successful learning environment is in-person with their teachers. In this environment, our students are met with the best social-emotional, nutritional, and academic support.”
At the beginning of this school year, officials decided to start school three days later to allow teachers to better prepare for the first day of school.
“We planned to use built-in snow days as virtual learning days on February 15th, April 2nd, and an additional day on May 4th,” said Dr. Mungle. “These days will now be in-person learning days, and any future snow days may be considered virtual learning days.”
