  • 9:45 a.m. Report of a vehicle stuck in the middle of the road on Williams Street and Leesville Road
  • 9:51 a.m. Controlled fire in the 5650 block of State Road 54 West
  • 10:37 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1810 block of Dixie Highway. The neighbor’s dogs are running loose and disturbing the caller’s animals

  • 1:56 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Fifth Street
  • 2:47 a.m. 911 call in the 2820 block of Washington Avenue. Bedford Police were alerted
  • 3:11 a.m. Request for hazmat to the 280 block of State Road 60 East. Approximately four gallons of gas have leaked onto the ground and spread toward State Road 60 East. The employee has turned off the gas pump. Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department responded
  • 4:11 a.m. Lift assist in the 2670 block of Williams Silverville Road

Accidents – Jan. 28

  • 6:56 a.m. Car/deer accident in the 1990 block of State Road 58 West
  • 6:57 a.m. Slide off in the 3610 block of State Road 37
  • 3:31 p.m. 911 call reporting a slide off at State Road 37 and Zikes Road
  • 3:36 p.m. Accident with a vehicle leaving the scene on Bud Stipp Road, just off Payton Road. A blue Ford Ranger ran off the road and into trees. No one was in the truck
  • 11:43 p.m. Property damage accident at Popcorn and Bennett roads. Monroe County Sheriff Department was alerted
