Connor Williams Named New Program Manager

(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Workforce Coalition, an arm of the Lawrence County Economic Growth Council, announces that Connor Williams has joined the staff as Program Manager.

In her new role, Williams will support the workforce development mission by the continued implementation of the Introduction to the Local Jobs And Skills course as well as focus on adding internships and apprenticeships with employers in our area.

Williams has spent the last four years working for the Indiana Department of Corrections (DOC), initially as a case manager for the Edinburgh facility, and most recently as a re-entry monitor at the DOC’s main office in Indianapolis.

“We are thrilled to welcome Connor on board and she has truly hit the ground running in her new role,” said Joe Timbrook, the Growth Council’s Director of Career Development. “Her experience working at the state level and helping offenders from recidivism by providing essential job and soft skills through case management and program delivery has been very successful.”

She also is anxious to help the local community utilize the state’s Next Level Job opportunities and improve post-secondary attainment in Lawrence County. She also is currently working on her master’s degree.
