(INDIANAPOLIS) – On November 20, 2020, the Indiana State Police began an investigation based on several tips received about a social media video of a Lamborghini being driven recklessly on I-465.
The video was uploaded November 18, 2020, and allegedly shows a black Lamborghini stop in the left lane of I-465 near the 9-mile marker, the vehicle then accelerated rapidly with a video showing the speedometer.
The speedometer reaches a speed of 213 miles per hour before the driver decelerates.
A follow-up investigation by Indiana State Police Crash Reconstructionists was able to estimate the vehicle’s speed at 198 miles per hour as it passed another vehicle.
Earlier this month investigators turned over their findings to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office who, upon review of the case, filed reckless driving charges against 33-year-old Gabriel Sleiman.
