  • 4:16 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1330 block of I Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 5:45 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at the courthouse
  • 6:22 a.m. Medical emergency in the 520 block of Skyline Drive. An elderly person passed away
  • 6:31 a.m. 911 call in the 150 block of Harrison Street. Orange County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 8:05 a.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 2400 block of Stumphole Bridge Road
  • 8:07 a.m. Agency assist at McDonald’s in Mitchell. Police are looking for a runaway male who is in the lobby. The male was taken into custody
  • 9:00 a.m. Request for animal control at US 50/ 60 split for a domestic white turkey laying near the roadway. The bird is alive but injured. Animal control was exiting her truck to retrieve the bird when a semi made a right turn and ran over the turkey
