(BEDFORD) – An 11-year-old girl was issued a summons to appear in juvenile court on a charge of possession of tobacco.
The incident happened at Parkview Primary Monday.
“She was not arrested,” said Chief Terry Moore. “She was issued a summons to appear on the charge and her parents were alerted.”
Chief Moore was unclear on why she had the cigarettes.
