Two Boys Arrested After Damaging Windows With BB Guns

(BEDFORD) – Two Bedford boys are facing charges of criminal mischief after Bedford Police officers were called to a home in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue at 6:32 p.m. Sunday due to a report of damage to windows.

The caller told police she heard popping noises and when she went to her window she noticed two boys, one wearing a red sweatshirt with a BB gun.

She then noticed damage to her windows.

The officers spoke to several neighbors in the area who also had damaged windows.

“Officers located the two juveniles, ages 10 and 11, at a nearby house that matched the descriptions given by the complainant,” said Chief Terry Moore. “Officers noticed a container of BB’s on the front porch and located the BB gun in the backyard. Both boys were issued summons to appear in court and were released to their parents with signed promises to appear.”
