Ruby Jeannette Wease, 88, of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born October 15, 1932, in Hoosier, Illinois, she was the daughter of Huey and Hattie (Rice) Scammahorn. She married Chester Carl Wease April 27, 1948, and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Ruby was a homemaker and enjoyed life and traveling. She was a member of the Mitchell Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her children, Loverta M. Dille, of Mitchell, Jerry Wease, of Springville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Elberta Windhorst of Metropolis, Illinois
Her parents; husband;Â son, Larry D. Wease; and siblings, Richard Scammahorn, David Scammahorn, and Ruth Wease, preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen with burial at a later date in Illinois.
