(BEDFORD) – A Bedford woman was arrested on a warrant Monday after she was stopped for a false or fictitious registration on December 26, 2020.

While speaking with Ringo, the officer asked her if she had anything illegal in the vehicle and she said no. He then asked consent to search the vehicle and she agreed to allow him to search the vehicle.

The officer retrieved a bag that contained a bowl of marijuana after Ringo divulged its location. Ringo was then detained.

During a search of the vehicle the officer also located a used syringe in the back seat that tested positive for meth.

The information was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office and a warrant was issued for Ringo’s arrest on four charges. Those charges included possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
