Bedford Redevelopment Approves Payments For Plaza Drive And Stonegate Projects

(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Redevelopment Commission met Monday afternoon to approve payments for the Plaza Drive Project and Stonegate Arts & Education Center.

The payment of $130,937.50 was approved to be paid for the annual payment of the Plaza Drive South Project. The payoff for that project will be in January of 2023.

The payment of $127,500 to Old National for the lease agreement for the Stonegate Arts & Education Center was approved. The payoff for that project will not be until 2037 and the dollar amount of $127,500 is made twice a year for that project.

Mayor Sam Craig advised RDC members that the Spider Creek Project has been placed on hold because federal funding for that project is no longer available.

The Bedford Redevelopment Commission elected Penny May as president, Judy Carlisle as vice -president, and Ryan Griffin as secretary for 2021.
