Martin County Courthouse Closes To The Public

(MARTIN CO.) – The Martin County Courthouse is closing to the public due to the number of COVID-19 cases.

Martin County has moved into the Red status which limits social gatherings to 25 or less.

As a result of the red status and the recommendation of the Martin County Health Department, Martin County Commissioners have decided to close the Martin County Courthouse to the public beginning at the close of business today Wednesday, January 6, 2021, through January 15, 2021.

Appointments may be a possibility, please contact individual departments to determine if appointments are available. For additional forms and information please use the county website.

The Board of Commissioners will re-evaluate the opening of the Courthouse on Friday, January 15, 2021, but are tentatively planning to open Tuesday, January 19, 2021. The courthouse will close Monday, January 18, 2021, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
