Norma Jean Turner, 84, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at IU Health in Bedford.
She was born on June 23, 1936, in Casey County, Kentucky to William Coy and Ollie (McFarland) Gibson. Norma married George Turner in Miami, Florida on September 8, 1972, and he preceded her in death. She was a salesperson and caregiver, her hobbies included doll maker, photography, painting, and writing, she was a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty Buck of Bedford and Rachel Estep of
Johnson City, Tennessee, one brother, William Stafford of Bradfordsville,
Kentucky, four half-brothers, Onie, David, Gary, and Danny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Turner, sisters,
Josephine, Barbara, Sylvia, and half-brother, Lonnie.
Cremation was chosen with a celebration of her life at a later date.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
