36-Hour Manhunt Ends With Arrest Of Two Subjects

(ORANGE CO.) – On December 4, 2020 the Dubois County Sheriffs Office completed an investigation into two separate burglaries involving a deadly weapon in Dubois County. As a result of that investigation, warrants were issued by the Dubois County Prosecutors Office for the two suspects.

 On December 28, 2020, Indiana State Police began an investigation into the whereabouts of the two suspects, 27-year-old Robert Knox and 18-year-old Lili Robinette. During the  investigation, it was determined both subjects were a high risk to public safety. Indiana State Police, United States Marshal Service, and Orleans Police were tasked with apprehending the individuals.

On December 29, 2020, at approximately 7:12 p.m., Robert Knox was located hiding in an outbuilding in Orleans. An Indiana State Police K-9 was utilized to assist in locating and apprehending Mr. Knox, who was taken into custody without incident.

Approximately one hour later Lili Robinette surrendered to authorities and was taken into custody by officials. Both subjects were transported and booked into the Dubois County Jail.

Robert Knox has been charged with two counts of burglary with a deadly weapon, a Level 2 Felony and two counts of Burglary of a dwelling, a Level 4 Felony.

Lili Robinette has been charged with residential entry break and enter the dwelling of another person, a Level 6 Felony
