Jaines Dee Doane, 81, of Bedford, passed away at 12:16 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Monroe Hospital in Bloomington.
Born July 22, 1939 in Martin Co., he was the son of Delbert D. and Lucille (maiden name) Doane. He married Margaret J. “Jeanie” Glasgow in 1999 and she survives. He was a welder at General Motors and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as an MP. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #440, SAR (Sons of the American Revolution) and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanie, of Bedford; children, Deanna Bauernfiend and husband, Dwight, of Melbourne, FL, David Baker and wife, Scarlett, of Bedford, Timothy Baker and wife, Tracy, of Springville, Donetta Levron and husband, Paul, and Loran Doane, all of Melbourne, FL, Jackie Doane, of Evansville, Becki Acton and husband, Tom, of Bedford; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, a son-in-law, Gary Tarr; a grandson, Kyle Tarr.
