HVAF Hires VP For Finance, Senior Accountant For Finance Department

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Helping Veterans And Families announce two new hires for its Finance Department Sunny Reed as Vice President for Finance and Patrick Daskol as Senior Staff Accountant.

Sunny Reed

Sunny comes with a deep knowledge of nonprofit finance and accounting principles and methods. She has extensive experience in general accounting functions, creating and analyzing financial reports, applying systems of internal controls, managing cash flow, ensuring compliance, and leading process improvement. She has served in various leadership, management, finance, and customer service roles plus she has taught business and accounting at the post-high school level.

She earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting from American Public University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from Newman University, and holds certifications in Blackbaud and Financial Edge. Also, Sunny is active in the community and has served as a volunteer with numerous agencies and committees.

Patrick Daskol

Patrick is a licensed CPA and comes with 17+ years of accounting experience, both in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. He worked as a Senior Accounting Consultant at Robert Half Services for three years before coming to HVAF. There, he annualized cash savings, created financial reports for clients, and revised and revamped the reports. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Regis University with a degree in Accounting.
