Camden Lawrence Scott Moore, 10, of Oolitic, passed away at 6:03 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in Oolitic.

Survived by his parents Marissa Cooper and Christopher Moore; two half-siblings Amber Moore and Logan Cooper; Grandparents Louanna Honecker and Shirley Moore; Niece Sylena Morris; and Uncles Scott, Jason, and Mike along with many cousins. Cam loved being a big brother to Logan.
Camden was an amazing and energetic young man who’s been taken too soon. This intelligent young man was always using his imagination, building Lego sets, and bringing humor to those around him.
He enjoyed math, science, learning new things, and traveling when he could. You could find him drawing, playing with his cat, Hero Clix, and at Game Knight in Jasper, IN. He was a fan of Star Wars, Monty Python, BattleBots, Iron Giant, Queen, Marvel, and Husker football. Most of all, being outside: whether fishing, going for boat rides, walking, swimming.
Some of Camden’s favorite memories were the trips that included Colorado; Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and Car Henge; Niagara Falls, Boldt Castle, and Fort Stanwix; and got to fly first class to Disney World. He was also able to visit a few of the towns that share his name in Ohio, New York, and here in Indiana. As a newer roller coaster enthusiast, he got to experience rides at Disney World, Holliday World, Kings Island, and Kentucky Kingdom. He enjoyed Water Coasters the most.
Whether eating Blue Moon ice cream at Jiffy Treat or picking up a white unfilled long john at Magic Morning he enjoyed being near his family and friends the most. He was known to help his father while volunteering for robotics competitions, selling concessions at the Indy 500, or simply doing the groceries Saturday mornings. He was a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County where he had many friends and enjoyed bringing donuts to the staff during the summer.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30 th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
A private celebration of life will be conducted. The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions to the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County or Dubois County Humane Society.
