BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence has paused boys basketball functions and activities following the exposure of team members to the COVID-19 virus.

School officials postponed last week’s home game with Madison just minutes before the start of the junior varsity game. BNL has now postponed Saturday’s game at Silver Creek.

BNL will look to resume practices on Dec. 23, following guidelines of the Center for Disease Control that mandate a quarantine.

The Stars are currently 2-2 after winning at Columbus East on Friday night. The next scheduled event is the two-day holiday tournament on Dec. 29-30.

The hold on boys basketball does not affect other winter sports.
