Robert G. Lintz, 79, of Orleans passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 9:25 a.m. at IU Health in Paoli.
He was born in Lawrence County on July 31, 1941, to Charles Emerson Lintz and Ada Jane (Johnson) Lintz. He was a carpenter and construction owner of Lintz Brothers Construction, he also owned B & M Apartments and B & B Doors and previously owned Lintz Mini-Mart. Robert married Diana Walton on January 1, 2010, and she survives. He attended the Oolitic Church of Christ
Survivors include his wife, Diana Lintz of Orleans, one son, Robert E. (Kristin) Lintz of Orleans, four grandchildren, Robert J. Lintz of Bedford, Corrie Lintz Flynn of Bedford, Blane Lintz of Orleans and Braden Smith of Orleans, three great grandchildren, Brother-in-law that was raised in the home, Eugene Johnson of Oolitic, two brothers, Donald Lintz of Bloomfield and Jim Lintz of Pendleton, two sisters, Betty Wilson of Pendleton and Linda Sullivan of Avoca, a large extended family survives Robert.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Lintz in 2004, four brothers, Norman Lintz, Joe Lintz, Roy Lintz, and Larry Lintz, one sister, Erma Jean Lintz
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for his medical expenses.
