(BEDFORD) – The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County Online Auction continues this week and on Saturday a Facebook Live Concert will take place featuring musical artist Clayton Anderson.
The Online Auction ends at 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 13th. To participate you must register at https://secure.qgiv.com/event/bgclawco/register/.
“Once they register, they must download the GIVI app available on their smart devices. If they are outbid they will be notified,” said Timber Browning, Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County Resource and Marketing Director.
There are more than 50 items to bid on and something for everyone.
The Facebook Live benefit concert with Clayton Anderson will take place on Saturday, December 12th at 7 p.m. It is free to watch with a Facebook login.
“Since school has been back in session, we are working with kids and teens to process their emotions and heal from trauma, address challenges related to academic backside and distance learning,” added Browning.
“We continue to lead them on a path to reach their full potential. As trusted mentors, we are dedicated to showing our kids the power of their voice in serving as advocates for a better future. We need your support now more than ever,” said Browning.
Membership is $30 per member, per year. It costs the club $450 a year per member, per year in providing programs and services. This puts the club $420 behind each time a child signs up,
“This is the reason fundraisers are important for the many programs and services the Boys and Girls Club provides to the Lawrence County Youth,” added Browning.
