Two Arrested On Resisting Arrest And Drug Charges

(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested after Bedford Police officers were patrolling near 24th and G streets looking for 28-year-old Ricky Terrell because he ran from officers earlier in the day.

Terrell was wanted on an active warrant in Monroe county. 

While patrolling, Terrell was located walking and once he saw officers he took off running. Following a foot pursuit Terrell was caught and officers located three syringes in his coat pocket.

During the pat down Terrell was able to get away from the officer and took off running again. He was caught a short distance away and, while walking him back to the patrol car, a female later identified as 25-year-old Constance Gonzales ran up to the patrol car and picked up the three syringes and took off running.

Gonzales was caught and the three syringes were located near a shed she ran past.

Gonzales was arrested on charges of obstruction of justice, possession of meth, unlawful possession of syringes, two counts of resisting arrest, and possession of meth.

Terrell is facing charges of resisting arrest, unlawful possession of syringes, possession of meth, and the Monroe County warrant.
