Brown County Homicide Victim Identified

(BROWN CO.) – The Brown County Coroner’s Office has identified a homicide victim. 

The coroner says the victim is 38-year-old Angela Weisheit, of Indianapolis.

Weisheit’s body was discovered on Saturday, November 21st after the Brown County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call reporting a body found near Bean Blossom Road and Bell Road.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Indiana State Police Bloomington Post was asked by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department to assist in investigating the homicide investigation.

Detectives do believe this is an isolated incident.

Indiana State Police and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office strongly believe someone has information regarding this case and urge anyone with that information to come forward.  If a person or persons are in fear of reporting what they know, law enforcement has the means to mitigate those concerns.
