WVCF Staff Help Provide Coats For Kids

(CARLISLE) – For the past five years, staff at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) have teamed up with the Sullivan County Salvation Army to help provide coats to kids.

The Salvation Army receives referrals from schools, churches and social service agencies throughout Sullivan County. WVCF has been a part of the Salvation Army’s mission to provide coats for kids since 2015.

Over the years the number of coats donated has continued to rise.  This year WVCF staff donated 51 coats.

Deputy Warden Frank Littlejohn organizes the coat drive. He said, “I could not be more proud of the generosity of our staff. They have a true passion for youth and demonstrate that each and every time there is an opportunity to give.”
