(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Community Foundation has always supported Lawrence County youth and continues to seek opportunities to help them succeed in life.
LCCF just recently purchased a new air hockey table for the game room at the Limestone Unit of the Lawrence County Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County.
“The Lawrence County Community Foundation has been a key supporter of our Boys & Girls Club and the endowments that benefit our club provide valuable income on annual basis. The Lawrence County Community Foundation also provides various yearly grant opportunities that help meet some of the financial needs of the club,” said Frank Decker, Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.
“It is our pleasure to support the youth of Lawrence County. We try to do everything to support them, so they can reach full potential in all they set out to do,” said Hope Flores of the Lawrence County Community Foundation.
“Lawrence County Community Foundation is an advocate of our youth and community,” said Decker.
“Since I started my position with the Boys & Girls Club in August of 2018, they have been instrumental in providing security and safety dollars for our emergency alarm system software, and resource officer expenses,” added Decker. “This past summer they provided an emergency relief grant that helped with summer day care and just recently provided a grant opportunity for a new air hockey table. The old table was beyond repair.”
The Lawrence County Community Foundation also supports many other organizations through out the year.
