(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested after Bedford Police were called to Walmart after an employee saw a man conceal items in his waistband and leave the store without paying for the items.
When officers arrived they found 42-year-old David Swafford running in the parking lot.
He was stopped and admitted to taking the items without paying for them.
During an inventory of Swafford’s vehicle police located marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Swafford was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft.
