  • 5:26 p.m. Samantha Jones, 22, 549 Liberty Bell St., wanted on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated
  • 5:59 a.m. Justin Wright, 33, Paoli, public intoxication, resisting arrest

  • 1:51 a.m. Caleb Brown, 22, Bedford, issued a summons to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • 9:16 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1220 block of State Road 158. An elderly male was having heart issues
  • 9:18 p.m. Report of a vehicle on fire in the 818 block of Twin Bridges Road next to the bridge in a hay field
  • 9:46 a.m. Lift assist in the 1720 block of Greer Lane. A woman fell and is having back problems

  • 12:44 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a gray Chevrolet Colorado at State Road 37 at the Oolitic stop light
  • 1:25 p.m. Traffic stop at John Williams Road and R Street. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 2:06 p.m. Follow up investigation at the Sheriff’s Department with a female that reported an incident that happened several weeks ago in Tunnelton
  • 2:15 p.m. A resident in the 30 block of Hillview Lane in Springville reported her truck has been stolen

  • 2:28 p.m. 911 call in the 590 block of Camp Rivervale Road. It was an accidental call
  • 2:46 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 420 block of West Oak Street in Mitchell

  • 3:10 p.m. Medical emergency at Spring Mill State Park. A female was having a possible heart attack
  • 4:13 p.m. Medical emergency in a lot on West Grissom Avenue. An elderly woman fell

  • 4:58 p.m. Report of illegal burning in the 6250 block of State Road 58 East

  • 5:04 p.m. Theft of a 2001 Ford Explorer from the pull off at Patton Hill Road this morning near the quarry. The owner was shown photos of a burned vehicle that was found and believes the vehicle was hers

  • 6:12 p.m. A person was on station requesting an officer’s assistance in the 460 block of Mystic Lake. A male had yelled at her and spat in her face and kicked her dog
  • 6:31 p.m. Domestic fight in the 300 block of Dixie Highway
  • 6:47 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of Rariden Hill
  • 6:52 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Hancock Avenue
  • 8:06 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 100 block of Old Farm Road
  • 8:27 p.m. Unwanted person at a home in the 1140 block of West Main Street in Mitchell
  • 8:36 p.m. Transport detail from the jail to IU Health Hospital. An inmate was complaining of severe stomach pain
  • 8:51 p.m. Theft from a vehicle in the 210 block of West Warren Street in Mitchell. A camo jacket, pocket knife and first aid kit was stolen
  • 9:17 p.m. 911 call in the 8130 block of South Rockport Road. Someone was shooting an air soft gun
  • 9:33 p.m. Medical emergency alarm sounding in the 250 block of Briarwood Lane. It was an accidental alarm
  • 9:45 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle on US 50 East and Shawswick Station Road
  • 9:51 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East at D&D Star Stop
  • 10:19 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Art Gallery Road
  • 10:23 p.m. Follow up investigation at Lakeside Estates
  • 10:43 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Art Gallery Road
  • 11:51 p.m. 911 call in the 2850 block of Hillside Road. A toddler was playing with a phone

Incidents – Oct. 19

  • 12:22 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in Huron.. 
  • 12:48 p.m. Citizen assist in the 630 block of South 7th Street in Mitchell
  • 1:44 p.m. Request for a welfare check on an elderly female who was reported missing on October 14th possibly in a room at the Crest Motel in the 3750 block of Old State Road 37. Police also looked for the missing woman at the Budget Inn and the Rosemount Inn. The woman was found at the Crest Motel. The woman had gotten a new phone and did not know how to use it. The officer showed the woman how to use her phone
  • 4:38 a.m. EMS was placed on standby at the Monroe County line

  • 7:51 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene at the Dollar General Store in Oolitic
